We started for the capital of Sweden, Stockholm, on Friday night (10th of December) and was there at noon the next morning. The dogs had no trouble going that far by car and slept the hole way. Mimmi thought that seemed a great idea and did the same. While Tim, "the road-warrior" struggled on listening to the tunes of "Simple Minds". Lina and Håkan had gone to Stockholm by air on Friday and waited for us. We had plans to do some x-mas shopping. That resulted in a lot of walking and Tim's feet got hurt a lot. Mayah and Quincy found some dog-friends in a park and had a great time running around!
By the evening we were all really hungry and tired so we had some large pizzas and went to the movies. The new James Bond movie had just started to show in Sweden. We had terrible seats far to one side and very close, but it was a good movie anyway. The best part was before the movie had started - a comesial for a beer with real live actors in the audience!
With no fur to talk about we did not have that high hopes for Mayah,
but she finished
"Typ, storlek och helhetsintryck: Mycket god. Medelstor feminint huvud med tillräcklig mask. Bra hals och rygg. Något brant kors. Tillräcklig bröstkorg. Önskas mer förbröst. Normala vinklar. Svaga mellanhänder. Bra päls och färg. Ska bli stabilare i sina rörelser." Mimmi took Mayah to do a test of character at the show. It was the test called "Karaktärsprov" and Mayah was approved. It was a simple test that, compared to the much better and more complete test called MH, did not say much about the dog except that Mayah has no fears of rattling sounds, shots or strange objects (person under blanket). After the show Lina and Håkan took the keys to our car to get their bags. Then they forgot to return the keys to us and went to the airport with them. But the mistake got cleared up before they got in the air, and we could go home in the snow blizzard on Sunday evening. |
